About the programme
⊛ DVONOĆJE is a two-day cultural and artistic event held annually in the village of Mijakovići on the summer solstice. The programme brings together contemporary art, experimental music, sound installations, exhibitions, and performative interventions in dialogue with the landscape, history, and local community.
The event culminates with "Romantična noć" (Romantic Night) on the solstice itself, organised by the local community as a celebration of heritage, music, and gathering.

The context
Artists and villagers share the same spaces, meals, and evenings. There's no audience in the traditional sense — everyone is present. For many artists, this directness turns out to be one of the most valuable parts of the experience.

What's included
- Accommodation at the residency (2 nights)
- All meals and drinks
- Presentation of work
- Symbolic honorarium (50 EUR per artist)
Artists do not pay to participate. The event is financed through donations and the Zvjezdane Staze fund.
Capacity: Maximum 8 artists.
Programme budget (transparency)
+This budget covers the programme organised by Zvjezdane Staze (Friday evening + Saturday). Romantična noć (Sunday) is financed separately by the local community.
Financing plan: Fundraising campaign ~1.000 EUR, Zvjezdane Staze Fund ~300 EUR, other donations ~150 EUR.
Production & coordination covers: programme planning, communication with artists, logistics, administration.

After the event
Documentation is published on the Zvjezdane Staze media archive. Artists retain full rights to their works. The Sound Walk remains as a permanent installation, growing each year with new compositions.
