About the project

QR board detail

∿ Zvjezdane·Zvuчne·Staze (Stellar Sound Paths) extends the residency into the landscape.

The walking path from Mijakovići to the medieval fortress of Bobovac — approximately 3 kilometres along forest paths and hillside — is frequented by hikers heading to Mount Perun and visitors to the historic site. The Sound Walk adds a layer of listening to this passage.

One central information board introduces the project. Four smaller boards with QR codes mark listening points along the path — each dedicated to a single composition created by an artist who spent time at Zvjezdane Staze.

The installation grows over time. New residents create new works. The archive expands.

The residency

Zvjezdane Staze is an independent artist residency in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering time, space, and quiet for focused work. The Sound Walk is one of several programmes connecting artistic practice with the surrounding landscape and community.
