About the programme

Practice room at Zvjezdane Staze

Accordion Hub 2.0 is an intensive masterclass programme for advanced accordion students and emerging professionals, developed by accordionist and educator Goran Stevanović. It operates as a sub-format of 🜄 Inkuбator, the Zvjezdane Staze series of transformative seven-day programmes.

A week of deep, focused work: mornings and afternoons in the practice room, evenings on the terrace with music, food, and conversation. Three participants, one mentor, no fifteen-minute slots.

The accordion has a unique place in the Balkans. Nowhere else in Europe does this instrument carry such cultural weight, from concert halls to village celebrations. Accordion Hub exists at this intersection: rooted in place, connected to the world.

Programme structure

The programme is built around two interconnected components:

Repertoire Lab

Work on self-chosen repertoire, interpretation, and performance practice.

Exploration of contemporary extended techniques: drone tones, vocal integration, reed box manipulation.

Improvisation sessions.

The pieces developed here are presented at the closing concert.

Career Lab

Practical strategies for life after (or alongside) studies.

Concert planning and programming. Recording and label research. Festival applications.

Press and media relations. Social media presence.

Honest conversations about the realities of a musical career.
